Verification: three trust levels
Declared, BD-confirmed and API-synced — every figure is labeled by its source.
Why labels matter
Screenshots can be edited; media kits can exaggerate. KOLHub labels every number by how it was obtained, and never blends declared figures into verified ones.
Level 1 — Declared
The creator's own statement. Shown with a dashed “Declared” tag. Useful context, but treat it as a claim until it is confirmed.
Level 2 — BD-confirmed
A business-development contact at the exchange — whose corporate email domain is verified on KOLHub — reviews the creator's referral statistics in their own dashboard and confirms the figure. The confirmation is recorded with a snapshot of the confirming domain.
Level 3 — API-synced
The creator connects a read-only exchange affiliate API key (Bybit supported today). KOLHub pulls referral totals — trading volume, deposit volume, signups — on a daily schedule and marks them API-verified. Keys are stored encrypted, are never displayed again, and can be disconnected at any time, which removes the synced rows.
Social audience
X and Telegram followers sync read-only from the platform APIs. A green dot next to a number always means: this came from the source, not from the creator.
