Disputes and the arbiter
A structured process with evidence windows and an independent on-chain ruling.
When to open a dispute
If delivery doesn't match the agreed brief and a revision didn't resolve it, either side can open a dispute on the affected milestone within the review window. The milestone freezes on-chain until a ruling.
Evidence
Both sides upload evidence — briefs, drafts, links, files — into a private, access-controlled store. Evidence is visible to the counterparty and the arbiter only.
The ruling
An independent arbiter reviews the deal record and evidence, then executes an on-chain ruling: full release to the creator, full refund to the company, or a percentage split. The contract enforces the ruling; the platform cannot override it.
Reputation effects
Dispute outcomes feed reputation for both sides. A creator who wins a dispute is not penalized; serial bad-faith disputes are visible in a company's public record.
