Dispute policy

Disputes exist to protect honest parties on both sides. The process is structured, evidence-based, and enforced by the escrow contract — not by support tickets.

  1. 1

    Try a revision first

Each milestone includes a structured revision round. Most disagreements resolve here, without freezing the deal.

  2. 2

Open the dispute in the window

If revision fails, either party opens a dispute on the affected milestone within the review window. The milestone freezes on-chain.

  3. 3

    Submit evidence

Both sides upload briefs, drafts, links and files to a private evidence store visible only to the counterparty and the arbiter.

  4. 4

    Independent ruling

The arbiter reviews the record and executes an on-chain decision: full release, full refund, or a percentage split. The contract enforces it.

  5. 5

    On the record

Outcomes feed both parties' reputation. Winning a dispute never penalizes a creator; bad-faith patterns are visible in public history.

The legal framework for disputes is defined in our Terms of Service.
